Content Rising
Where ideas take root and connections grow
What is the best way to support creatives fighting for the climate?
Content Rising is a one-day gathering designed to connect and inspire environmental creatives and content producers. Founded by a collective of storytellers and environmental communicators, the event aims to unite the industry by addressing the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of sustainability-driven storytelling.
Hosted at the Millennium Seed Bank in Kew Gardens’ Wakehurst Place — an underground archive safeguarding over 2.4 billion seeds, the venue became the heart of the brand’s visual inspiration.
The identity draws on the idea of germination (the moment when a dormant seed awakens and begins its journey toward growth). This metaphor became central to the design system, representing how creativity can lie unseen until the right conditions allow it to flourish.
Content Rising’s identity ultimately reflects what the event stands for: creating space for environmental storytellers to connect, collaborate, and grow.

The Millennium Seed Bank is the world's largest seed conservation facility for wild plant species, managed by Kew Gardens at its Wakehurst site in West Sussex, UK.
It is designed to store a backup of the world's wild plant species as insurance against extinction. The facility includes secure, radiation-proof vaults for storage and state-of-the-art labs for research and processing, and is a key part of preserving nature.
Simplified storytelling; signs and symbols.
To visualize the idea of ‘Rising’, I created a modular system of stackable symbols and abstract shapes. A series of stackable abstract forms and adaptable graphic shapes were developed to symbolise this process of emergence and evolution. Each form can combine, overlap, or expand, mirroring the organic nature of collaboration and the interconnectedness of creative ideas. The visual language is deliberately minimal yet dynamic, allowing flexibility across digital and physical applications.
“Can't recommend Bron's work enough. She led and delivered the whole brand concept and visual identity of Content with superb results. And she's also a really lovely person to work with too. A winning combination. Thanks for all your help Bron!”

“Thank you so much for bringing the Content Rising brand to life. It worked brilliantly in the Wakehurst landscape, and with the grounded but positive and playful outlook that people took from the day.”
